Its SILVER colored. I want to upgrade it, but i need the computer to find it first.

You need the Motorola Phone Tools CD. You have to install the software on that CD on your comouter before you connect the phone to it via the USB data cable. You can go to the motorola website and you should be able to order that cd. I think its free, all you have to pay for is the shipping. You might also be able to download the software from a p2p site. Try BitTorrents. i know they have it there.

Cell phones don't regularly interface with PCs. I'm not really sure what you're trying to ask, nor what you're trying to accomplish.
If you're just talking about upgrading the software on your phone, there is a number you can dial to do that. Consult your phone's manual or call your provider's customer support number.
If you're trying to actually upgrade your phone's hardware... it doesn't work that way. You can certainly replace your phone, but phones aren't designed to have upgradeable individual components.

If your PC has XP installed on it, you may have luck with finding the drivers that your cell likely needs to communicate with your computer by running the 'Driver Update' command found in 'Device Manager' (Right-click 'My Computer', click 'Hardware', then 'Device Manager' > and 'Update Driver' for your cell.)
If XP Update can't find the driver's online, then it's time to check Motorola's website for the correct drivers. If you've no luck with this, then you can download the drivers for your cell here:
