Dual in what sense? Having two VGA/DVI output connectors to drive 2 monitors?

If you just want a good multi-purpose card for general use, something like a GeForce 6600 or Radeon X1300 is great. If you're not doing any 3D gaming, even the older GeForce FX5200 or FX5500 would be fine- all have 2 video connecters and can run a dual-screen setup.

Unfortunately if you're looking to run high-end games like Half-Life 2, Fear, World of Warcraft etc, you want a really beefy video card like a 7900GT or better.

the new nvidia gforce with 2 x 512 should certainly be enough...
but why don't you get 2 cards? it could be cheaper and almost as good. The nvidia is close to $1,000 now.
