for a longer time than one might imagine it was charlie chaplin' "little tramp" character and also mary pickford!!!but in a more modern "pop culture ethic" worldwide during the eighties it was "rambo" the sly stallone character in all languages and warrior societies to whom that sort of bravado made a deep appeal!!india, pakistan, china, vietnam, thailand, jordan, arabia, sumatra, australia, myanmar and just as much here in the united states!!!go to foreign ,mysterious places and kill the very interesting and "other-cultured " people that you find yourself amongst!!!such allure for a primative sort of mindset!!!

If you mean current famous people I'd bet Madonna or the current person in the White House.
If you are talking historical figures, non living famous people, then since BC stands for Before Christ, or at least it used to , I'd say Jesus.
If you mean what is the most recognizable brand, probably coca cola.

I would say Jesus Christ but I would be wrong. Not with all the ignoramuses in the world. I would bet that all you pinheaded people would say Ronald McDonald or George Bush.

JESUS - no comparison, everyone in the world knows his name, Jews, gentiles, believers and non believers(atheist) all know his name, and they know it well. some love it, some hate it, but they ALL know it.
God said no name shall be grater, ever, in all the world.
the whole world has heard of him, weather or not they choose to except him is another story.

Gods word does not return to him void, so with or without your belief in GOD and JESUS, GODs word will still be as it is, as it was befor U and me, and as it will be after U and I are gone.
