I have heard of cases where people who had self control issues and they changed their ways after sessions with Hypnosis. However, from what I read, would the person hypnotizing you not violate you when you are enroute to 'wherever' for diagnosis? just curious...

Yes, hypnosis really works. They cannot violate you as you are totally aware of what is going on around you the whole time you are hypnotized. Hypnosis is not mind control and cannot make you do anything that is against your morals or ethics. It simply is a super-relaxed state within which suggestions can be implanted in your subconscious, which, upon 'awaking' (although you never really go to sleep), you can choose with your conscious mind whether to follow or not. The main thing is you have to want to and be willing to change within your conscious mind, because as they are just suggestions, you do not have to follow them. If you have ever felt deep relaxation upon meditating, then, that's sort of what its like to be hypnotized. As with any medical or alternative medical treatment, make sure you are going to a qualified professional.

Of course hypnosis "really works". It has been being done for centuries. If it were a myth, then no one would still being hypnotized. When hypnotized you will not do anything that you wouldn't do otherwise.
