[1] Boston Bruins - I know they are struggling but they are my team, they have been ever since I started following hockey; living in Boston....it's been a long drought...we haven't won a cup since 1972 :( !!
[2] Atlanta Thrashers - Great young players, they play an exciting brand hockey; this should be their year to make the playoffs for the 1st time
[3] San Jose Sharks - Joe Thornton is my favorite player, so now that he left the Bruins last year, I hope they do well this year.
[4] Carolina Hurricanes - their Series in the playoffs last year with the Sabres and the Oilers were two of the most exciting series in recent memory; love the fact that many people didn't give them a chance last year, and they did it with guts and determination to win the Cup.
[5] Minnesota Wild - another team who's an underdog who really have a chance to go far in the playoffs.....Manny Fernandez very good goalie who's under-rated and having a great season so far.
