i have a 2 year old lemon tree it hasn't made any lemons but is about 1 foot tall and has several large braches on it. what should i trim off if any. also i'm ont sure if i should trim now or in the spring.

Hrm. Mine is still a baby tree too. Maybe not trim, but definitely stake it up so it grows up straight and strong.

I can't wait until mine starts giving me free lemons!

If it a small tree with a whole lot of flowers it's a good idea to trim some out so that it doesn't exhaust itself by over producing. You can often get larger fruits by reducing overall yield. It's more important with little trees though, like 1-4 years old 1 to 3 feet tall and recent transplants.

no its not going to produce that quick its only been two years, it has to grow up first....the lemons are coming..dont trim it yet its only 12inches...

i suggest waitin to prune, never prune too hard, no more than 25% at most. here's a page to read.
