Yup, too young. Read up on some racing history.

1) Dale, Sr. (well documented)

2) Darrell Waltrip (yes, he was a driver, you newbies, with a BIG mouth)

3) Tim Richmond (he was the 1st driver to embrace superstar lifestyle, jets, cars, women, yachts, mink coats, etc)

4) Ernie Irvan (caused way too many wrecks being stupid)

5) Bobby Issac (actually retired during a race, try that Mark Martin) Issac pulled into the pits and said he was done, got out of the car, walk away and never came back.) My favorite signature move of all times.

What malcontent list is complete without David Pearson or Cale Yarbourgh.
Does anyone remember Jimmy "Sluggo" Spencer?
So Robbie Gordon is really just a misunderstood wheel man, huh?
Tony Stewart has turned over a new gasket but he was in the thick of things for a good while. And Rusty Wallace got into some tight spots a few times in this early years.

dale sr
jaws - aka darrell waltrip
tim richmond (he died of AIDS)
richard petty (he led a strike against big bill france to "slow dem cars down at daytona in the 60's. big bill jumped in a car and turned laps good enough to take the pole at the last race. richard backed down then and THEN went drag racin' for a few years)
bobby allison. - he always played by his own rules
junior johnson - same reason as bobby allison. when the rules didnt fit what he wanted....he cheated, then he quit
