The recorded vocal warning on the bus announces "Bus stopping at next stop- Please stand away from doors".Is that all doors in the world or do they save money by speaking like a Dalek?

Anyone who doesn't understand that the announcement is referring to the doors on the bus probably doesn't have the intelligence or sense to even board a bus.

No - that's a warning to stand clear of ALL doors as they can be pretty dangerous things you know.

Good old bus companies - not just after your money - but caring with it. I love them like I love my own folk.

Once heard on the tube when blockage of the doors twice prevented them shutting - 'Please stand clear of the doors - they are the big yellow slidy things at the side of the carriage!'
Now that's what I call an announcement!
