Yes.
Real life witches can't do things like seen on Bewitched or Charmed. Also real life witches obey certain rules such as free will and harm to none. They don't worship the devil (most don't even believe he exists). Look at it this way, spells are nothing more than prayers done in rhyme. They respect all nature and the power of the universe. It was others that created the evil hateful hags that do evil in an effort to convert the witches over to their belief system.
I say this because I am one.
Blessed be

yes we are real.people think that witches are evil ones and they put evil curses on people.actually thats not what a witch is suppose to do.a witch uses his or her magick to connect with the diety in the universe.and therefore they perform spells to help become closer to the deity.with the power and magick they have it comes from the deity that they are in connect.some say that there is a difference to witches and wiccans and pagans.but it is all the same religion except in a different denomination.like in christianity, they have different denominations.so if you hear ppl saying that witches are evil, that is nonsense!ppl dont wanna take their time to look up the real truth of being a witch.and if they did than there would have never been the burning times.anyhow the burning times are now over.and to your question on if witches are real, yes they are and there are many of us out here on this beautiful earth!hope this resolves your question.
blessed be,
Lord Ashka Dark witch

I'm a witch and I'm real. :-) Can I literally fly on a broom? Nope. Can I turn ya into a frog? Nope. Am I old and ugly? Well, that's a matter of opinion. But, I can cast spells (that usually do work), make potions that heal minor ailements, read tarot cards and tea leaves and I have a huge collection of "witch hats" and brooms. I also happen to be someone's daughter, sister, mommy, employee, girlfriend and best friend. We're out there... Just sometimes not so obvious.

It depends on your definition of a witch.
The Hollywood, Hocus-Pocus witches do not exist. There are, however, people who consider themselves practitioners of magic and who may identify themselves as witches.
To above post:
Not all Wiccans like to be called witches. Some might take offense to that. Witches can be Wiccan, Wiccans can be witches, but the terms, I believe, are not interchangeable.

Well that depends what you're calling a witch doesn't it? Herbalists have been called witches. So have doctors. Witchdoctors certainly exist. I would presume Witches do exist, merely because the word is and was so widly applied.
As for supernatural "charmed" women who don't know a pentical from a triquetta... No. No, they don't.

It kind of depends on what your definition of a witch is. Witches are real, but not how you see them in stereotypical movies and shows.

Some are, you have white magic witches and black magic witches.
Respect both, they now each other also.
A real witch knows when the other one is fake and also a real witch helps people when they need it without being commercial.

I don't know enough to cast a judgment one way or another, so I will demurr and state that until proven otherwise, there are witches amongst us
