It's brilliant, unfortunately our society is now far too corrupt. The newer generations don't have a grasp on values and morals. It's not being instilled in the homes.

How do we get back to the basics? I wish I had answer for that one.

On the other hand all is the same just more elaborate. (Wars, drugs, promiscuity etc...)

i actually lived the hippy days so its never really left, if u r referring to the style of clothing , jeans a t shirt and no bra, long hair just brushed dry with a hair brush, no blowdryers. No make up.Hippies were people who were ready to go at any moment with no hang ups about being beautiful, we all just were!slide on ur jeans and go. If you are referring to our beliefs, we were against the system because we could not trust our leaders. Drugs, well we experimented but it was to reach a higher level or chill out. We loved our music and nature and really wanted our world to be a better place. Peace and love. By the way do u know that the peace sign actually started on a tv show . V man would end each show holding up two fingers and saying ...and peace to the universe.

I liked the counter-culture idea and its principles. We could all use a bit more peace, love, happiness and haven't we all been frustrated with the system at some point in our lives?

But I don't think I'd like living IN the 60s. The Vietnam War was a constant background to the turbulent times. As much as it may have been exciting, it wasn't all flower power and LSD.

i dont think it will happen, back in the hippies days they, partied all the time. Now its a continous party with more and new drugs and music. The clothing on the other hand always will come back into style. Those ugly bell bottoms, hip huggers and Herman Munster shoes, are the past now.

I don't know. Each decade has Its own values. I couldn't live without my breakdance! I do breakdance and that didn't exist back then. ( I don't know if you heard of this type of dancing but its very new and fun)

I think it's a great idea.
Peace, love, happines, do nothing, smoke pot, drop acid, listen to really groovy music.
We can tie them all to trees in a big forest and then set fire to it.
:)

mmmmmmm.....toasted hippies.
That's almost as good as toasted st. bernards.
