control for the hunter chopper go like this:
X makes the blades go faster
O fires the rockets
Square slows down the blades
Triangle exits/enters the vehicle
R2 turns the ruddders right
L2 turns the rudders left
L1 fires the guns
the right anlogue stick turns the camera
The left analogue stuck moves the blades.

So, to take off requires you to press triangle to enter the helicopter.
Press x until you reach the desired height
Push the left analogue stick forward a bit.
Pushing the left analogue stick farther will make it go faster (Tilts the blades farther forward)
When you've reached the desired destination, let go of the analogue stick , and press square. Continue pressing square until you touch down. press triangle to exit the vehicle.
