It is rather cheep, but it seems a little fishy, is it a good place to get any decent music or no.

yep.we got and i love it.put the artist in and all the songs come up.some u never even heard. just made me a cd yestuday. i download the songs and then my husband puts them on a cd. and we have never gotten any viruses.had it since 04

Get it. It's brilliant. The best place to download music ever. Or films. Or programs. Or pictures. Or practically anything. Go on, go and download it!!! Now!! Chop chop! Nah, I'm joking, but it really is the best place to download music from. Don't bother paying for it. THAT'S not worth it. Get the free version. That's definately worth it.

Yes. We use limewire at home. Its totally worth it. To be honest I didnt know that we even paid for it. You can find almost any song on there, even old ones. We even make cd's from limewire. Get it

Its not a bad program, Its a windows based program so if you plan on using it and doing alot of windows based activities then you will be running slow cause it uses alot of the windows resources. Good to use when all you want is music. Bad if you want to use it while pushing your computer hard

It's free.
And idiots rename too many files and it's plum full of viruses.
There is a place to fileshare virus free/no misnaming etc but I won't divulge it, for fear of the same fate taking it over that has taken over virtually every P2P app created.

Don't pay, that's a gyp! You can get Ares for free and it accesses the same computers as Limewire.

I use LimewirePro and I`ve had it for about 2 years and had no problems. I burn CD`s all the time off of it.

I use it a work and home, and I have never gotten a virus. I have used it for a few years without any trouble.
