It is actually E = mc^2 (mc square).This is an important and well-known equation, which states an equivalence between energy (E) and mass (m), in direct proportion to the square of the speed of light in a vacuum (c^2).

Thats the EINSTEIN formula, but the correct way to write it is E=mc2 but the 2 is actually C squared I can't do it on this computer.
