hi everyone first go ahead and get a good laugh then seriously if you know what can be done tell me.....

my aunt was looking for an online job and got an e-mail asking her if she would be a rep for this fake azz company that sells art well anyway she fell for it and cashed the $2500 worth of AMERICAN EXPRESS TRAVLERS CHECKS well of corse they came back to her bank and now her azz is stuck, but the dumb azz that sent her the first checks just sent her more today totaling $10,000 ok we know these are fake as well but my question to you is .. is there a site where you can check to see if these are real or not and also what can we do (i got the same e-mail and want to help her stop him) to catch him or at least let others know about this and not to make the same mistake she did???

They sent them through the mail, so this is mail fraud and is a federal offense. (Besides the obvious theft). I agree, contact the authorities and report it. As for a site to check to see if they are real, there really isnt one, you can call (1) 800 221 7282 to check the serial numbers, but the ones you recieved may have been stolen and not reported yet.

Gosh, guess I'd call American Express and also the Better Business Bureau. Call your ISP....they should (probably won't) take some action on this since they allowed this scam sent on their servers.

First of all, if the first one's werent any good, surely you dont think the next batch would be either. Take them to any bank and they'll tell you.
