for the same reason that they thought up the much "needed" alaska oil pipeline and also "nafta" which allows the shipment of unchecked sealed cargoes through the entire united states against all previous rights and sovereignty concerns for their own personal economic self-aggrandisement and the taxpaying public's expense!!!!if we needed the northshore alaskan oil so desperately;why is "bp" BRITISH PETROLEUM,A FOREIGN CORPORATION PUMPING ALL OF THE OIL THAT WE BUILT THE PIPELINE TO ACCESS..AND THIS AT "OUR"EXPENSE AS A PEOPLE AND A NATION!!!THESE SORTS OF INTERESTS ARE FAR-SIGHTED AND THE BUILDING OF THE ALASKA HIGHWAY IN THE 40'S AND FIFTIES IS ASSUREDLY PART OF THEIR LONG RANGE PURSUITS!!OIL.DRUGS SHIPPED WITHOUT INSPECTION INTO ACROSS AND THROUGH AMERICA ,MEXICO AND CANADA BY THE CHEAPEST MOST COST EFFECTIVE METHOD IN ENSURE MAXIMUM PROFITABILITY!!!WITH PROSTITUTION LEGAL IN BRITISH COLUMBIA THERE IS PROBABLLY MUCH IN THE WAY OF DRUGS,LIQUOR AND WEAPONS THAT NEED TO BE SHIPPED WITHOUT INSPECTION STOPS..THANKS TO "NAFTA"...NO PROBLEM!!!HEROIN,MARIJUANA AND COCAINE..NO CHECKPOINTS!!ALL SEALED INVIOLATE CONTAINERIZED SHIPMENTS!!WHO'S GETTING RICH ON THESE TERMS?????WHO WANTED THEM MADE LAW!!!!
