Atheistic evolution says there’s no God to create. But "How" can cells (single cell creatures) in eggs with no or very very low intelligence can "build" extremely high quality complex organs, such as eyes, without any test before delivery for chickens to be born ? How come high itelligent human beings, who took billions of years to evolve and thousands of years to learn, cannot build similar complex organs, but it only take days for cells to build eyes for the chickens ? Are cells much smarter than human beings in some areas?

Theists believe that only god can create complex animal organs like eyes. Does it mean that it is God who actually does every hatching? Is it God who actually builds everything for human babies to be born ? And if single cell creatures can "build" complex organs, can they create human beings too?

Theists and atheists, any thoughts?

Will,

" So you are arguing that God is incapable of delegating the creating of chicks to hens?" ===>

No

sophist,

If a single cell creature, like amoeba, has 670 billion base pairs, does it mean cells are smarter than human beings so that they can build extremely high quality complex organs, such as eyes, without any test before delivery ?

Don't think about the evolution, think about today's cells in eggs or human beings, and the hatching process, the production activitied. Are they smarter than humman beings or even god ? How do cells build eyes druing the hatching process.

<== Production activitied ==> should be production activities

-.-,

"there's no need to posit an intelligent creator when natural selection explains the whole thing. Is a cell intelligent? no, it's not conscious, does it perform myriad functions -- yes, so do computers. So what. Are you going to tell me everything that performs a function is "smart"? My thermostat is alive? " ===>

Many say there's no need to posit natural selection when an intelligent creator explains the whole thing.

How do you know cells have no intelligence ? There are smart phones ! My computer is alive so that I can talk to my friend on line. And we people are just smart robots.

Yes, I am going back to school. And I think you, robot # -.- , need a vacation.

I apologize in advance if I misunderstand your question but looking at it from a purely scientific point of view as opposed to looking at it from a Theist or an Atheist's point of view:

An egg cannot develop/hatch without some form of heat, wether it be the hen or an incubator.

You are answering your own question here. First of all, we can build "similar complex organs". See 'engineered organs' link below. Second, you're dramatically overgeneralizing on how even basic biological processes work. First, even humans start off with a single cell... but it's a cell hooked into another human, that feeds it through an extremely complex set of processes. Just because a single cell is small, that doesn't mean it's simple. An amoeba has 670 billion base pairs, next to humans having only 3 billion.

I would strongly recommend some biology classes... it sounds like you want things to be very simple. Things are not simple at all, and they took billions of years to get from simple to complex. This is not an unproven guess or theory, it's backed by evidence as concrete as the very ground you stand on.

Well, the last time I was in the henhouse, I'm pretty sure the hen was sitting on the eggs. Every body, spiritual or earthbound, contribute to life.

You know how the saying goes that "God" always was and always will be? It is the same for all of us too. Our spirits have been around forever. If we live the spiritual life, we will have eternal life when we return home. Eternal death is for those who run nilly free willy without conscience. They have to come back here again and again and again. They will keep dying, over and over again.

Animals are angels in disguise. Probably the purest of all life forms. Thousands upon thousands give their lives so we humans in our earthly bodies can eat. Of course, all living things have a host who nurtures them till birth and beyond. We are only vessels for the cycle of life to continue through eternity. Which includes "God" who is actually a huge pool of perfect souls, along with every other good entity, here and at "Home", whose job is to help us with every single creation we have. That includes chickens and eggs. I think it involves all who have a spirit. All things are related in the big blanket of life.

Daddy Emu continually hatches the egg even as Momma wanders in each and every single place. Such devotion is an party to all Roosters etcetera. 56 days and then he leads his brood about. i don't think of Momma has a lot to do after laying the eggs. like the Ostrich his brains is amazingly small for something of his body. Fathers want somewhat more effective understand.

Our human thoughts are limited. Even Plato could not avoid putting a personal spin on his reports about his teacher Socrates. Then Plato's student Aristotle put his spin on things and wrote that women are inferior and that slavery is fine. Very interesting legacy. Was the mom of Socrates really a Midwife? Does this all have roots in the need for dramatic impact like Cain killing Abel, and Lucifer stealing Eve away from her intended spouse, Adam? What a legacy! Polytheism and Monotheism, what a mess.

Maybe just the Pope sits on the eggs. We really don't know what goes on under that big gown, now do we!?

And while that's going on, God is busy with the tongs turning the Hen on the grill...
