I had a green lizard in my home for about two months. It must have lived on little tiny black jumping spiders and drank water from the dog's bowl. It seemed quite happy, I didn't bother it and vice versa. Now it is gone ( and the little spders too) My question is do they hibernate? I haven't seen her for three days, could she be dead under the couch?
Sorry for sounding so wierd!

They usually disappear when cold weather comes in. ot the cat get them. You'll probly find her laying around on a window sill sunning sooner or later. If she ate all of her food she'll leave

Possible. has it been cold recently? She could be searching for a warmer area, or moved to find a new food source since the spiders are gone. It is also possible that maybe your dog ate it. I use to have them as pets, they were great! i had a hot rock though, so they didn't hibernate or anything. and there were always plenty of crickets to feed them!

Those little things are pests where I come from. They are tropical lizards. If it got cold (65 deg, even, for them), he is hidden somewhere warm. They do not hybernate

if the little guy didn't have any food he would take off to find more spiders
