I want to know what materials I need to start work to my dream of owning my own boutique and fashion store? I want to start on making clothes now so I'll be advanced in my career and I want to know what are the basic things I need to start my fashion trend?

A creative mind, a good business sense and a lot of money. Try working in a boutique at first, to see what it takes to be successful. Good luck!

Ideally you need to get a sense of learning the basics of running a small business. Its okay to browse the "small business" section in your local Public Library. Its a lot to learn, but to skim a little here and there till you get a grasp of what is necessary to get started.

Also, if you're still in school, I recommend taking as many sewing classes you can find.
There is a HUGE difference in just knowing how to make a basic seam, and knowing how to sew a complete garment like a shirt.
Sewing fabrics with elastic qualities are a completely different monster to master as well.

Don't give up sketching out your ideas for potential fashion concepts, you can work out your ideas with what ever concepts you see in the media.

When you shop the little boutiques, ask around if you can work as a part-timer, ask questions when you can, but don't be a bother. You need to work the job as well as be helpful to the boutique owner. Be patient.

You can eventually start out with a domestic sewing machine, but in time you will want to obtain a Baby Lock Serger, as well as an industrial grade sewing machine. Because regular sewing machines will wear out plenty quick. as well as having limitations to what they can do (lack of power for one).

Its a start. There is more, but you will know what to ask as you get along. There is so much to learn, you have to start somewhere.

Good luck sweetie!!!
