OK I have been buying and selling on ebay for a few years now and in the past year alone they have raised the listing price for normal auctions by 10 cents each and store items by 3 cents each. Now this may not sound like a lot but when you have 6000+ items in your store that's an extra $180 s month in ebay fees alone. Now they have a new policy where you can't have a buy now price of 1 cent on items because that would be circumventing fees. Can anyone explain o me how charging 1 cent each for comic books and $2.50 for shipping be circumventing fees? They are already charging a listing fee now they want more on the final value fee as well? And they own paypals so they get a cut out of all payments sent as well. Anyone else out there think ebay needs a wake up call and needs to be knocked down a peg or two? I can understand wanting to make money but this is insane. And it's not like there are any other good auction sites out there on the net you can use. everyone uses ebay.

Yes. My husband and I are done with eBay. They charged us three time for the same item. We had to re list it about five times because of people not paying for it, but they totally over charged us on it. Than they pulled the money from our bank account and said that we confirmed the payment which we didn't do. It sucked.

Ebay fees have gotten out of control. Add to that the lack of bidders, and the ones that are there are bottom feeders. Its become impossible to make any profit, and really when you consider the huge amout of work it is for a seller, you have to wonder why anyone bothers selling there anymore. Unfortunately if you are like me and have to work out of your home there are not really any other good online options. I don't know what the answer is, haven't figured it out myself yet.
