I get them too. The only thing besides putting sticky paper on your house is dishwashing detergent (Dawn, etc...). I run the hose on my house and add the soap into the stream of water. It kills those little bastards in no time. Good luck!

Find the box elder tree that is nearest your house and treat it. The latin name for the tree is acer negundo or black maple. Use boraxo or boric acid crystals in the house. The little darlings will eat the stuff and poof away. Fortunately they are seasonal and should go away by winter, unlike cockroachs that can withstand nuclear war.

Flatten their wings out with a sturdy blast of water from the water hose. in case you do upload cleansing soap, an extremely small volume of Lemon excitement or Ivory liquid dish cleansing soap is secure for the plants. different soaps are too harsh for plants.
