After seeing the movie Walk The Line, I went and bought the soundtrack to it. Joaquin and Reese did a great job with their parts and their voices are terrific!
I then went and bought a "greatest hits" type thing that has a few of the same songs on it by Johnny and June. I must admit I was a bit disappointed.
Is it just me, or are Joaquin/Reese actually a bit better than the real thing?

I think that Johnny is better than Joaquin, but Reese is better than June.
Maybe they can find a way to record Johnny with Reese...the best of both worlds!

I think the same thing about Joaquin and Reese sounding better than Johnny and June. June, in my opinion, really couldn't sing.

Johnny and June without a boubt. Joaquin and Reese did a fantastic job but i think but they are not the ones who are world famous for their music. They did do a fantastic job acting though...i loved that movi.

I think Reese has a better voice than June Carter. But nothing beats Johnnie voice.

can i just say that i love JOAQUIN!!!!!!!!!!!!! and he is so talented and yes he is so good.....but you must give props to Johnny and June they were amazing.........jaoquin and reese did really well protraying them and i have compared the two males and i must say that i downloaded the soundtrack rather than johnny's CD for this exact reason. there is a soundtrack with the songs that were sung in this movie by Johhny and one by joaquin. i like jaoquin and june

I agree they are good , but know one can take the original Johny Cash's place but Joaquin is hot!!!! as an actor.....but neither June nor Reese can sing ...Reese needs to stick to acting. That she is wonderful at.

joaquin is a mildly talented actor to be remembered only the odd film and you have the nerve to compare him to The Man In Black ?? try buying American recordings 1 to 5 and you may then learn the meaning of true genius. please.
