I may be mistaken but the question may have been worded correctly. Linda McCartney did take a ton of abuse from Paul's fans and the press for many years. She may have spoken out about it at some time. I know people really criticized her vegan philosophy and her line of food products and she was very vocal to the press on their criticism of her. She got the last laugh on that one as she made millions. Again, I may be wrong but the questioner asks about press abuse not any abuse about or from Paul.
