Just drop them an e-mail or a phone call and say "I just wanted to give you a call to say hi. I know that we haven't talked much recently, but I was thinking about you and just wanted to see how things are going. If you want to give me a call back when you get this, that would be great. Talk to you soon!.." Then, when they call you back , if the convo is good, make plans to do something with them.

Depends. What's the big deal? A time lapse? If they're treacherous, though, how is it you consider them friends? I'm polite. I talk to a lot of people. Most I don't want to even look at, but there they are. ( Tolerance. ) Just because I talk to you doesn't make you my friend. Like just because somebody wears a uniform, doesn't mean a thing. You have to check it out. Particularly in California. Where people are especially treacherous and two faced. Particularly in a uniform. Hope this helps.

There must be a reason why your not talking to someone for months but I guess you can start with small talk. a hello here and there. text message them or email them.telling them to have a good day or a good weekend, good night etc. the key words here are small talk.

Be the better person, pick up the phone and say you were thinking about them and wondering how they were doing. Sometimes we think too much time has passed and it seems harder to pick up the phone, if their friendship is worth saving then call. Most likely they have missed you too.
Good luck..

Remember the things that made you close originally and make an effort to get the friendship back on track.

Send them a "Miss You" card. Or just pick up the phone and tell them. Life is short. Don't waste one more moment!

contact her/him through a phone call, or email or letter.
Take it from there. You's may not be 'friends' again.. but, at least you can say, you made that move and thats what counts.

I would just call them and talk to them. Just see how things are going. Call them back after that or they will call you back!
