Ps2 and PSP are tottaly diffrent things
PSP Plus points:
Caryable
Easyer to modify for homebrew
Wifi to allow for mutilplayer gamming built in
PS2 + points:
Better graphics then psp
1000's more games to choose from
2-8 players with only 1 console
Games are generally cheaper
Cheaper to purchase preowned
Ps2 requires a Tv and cant be used outside say on a bus etc but is better if you have friends or family to play with. To put it online you need a broadband adapter.

I got 6 PS2 one PSP, PSP is my favorite but PS2 is better. Beacause you can play on TV and use the PS2 controller. Also the PS2 has awesome games just like the PSP has. And you can have your 40 gigabytes useless hard drive. You can connect keyboard mouse headset flash card readers. You watch DVD on the PS2. That`s why is better. But the PSP is my favorite because i can save all my mp3 songs, photos,videos,podcast, and flash games. Also i love the PSP beacause i can go on the internet download anything i also i can get system updates. The PSP has HD graphic perfect control and is portable. You can carry the psp around.The graphics are good, but the ps2 is better if you spend most of your time at home.

no psp is better because it is carryable and a ps2 is not
