It depends on how much your baby is requiring. Your body makes as much as your baby needs. Right now, I have a five week old. I've been pumping after she eats so that I will have milk after I go back to work. So, I'm actually producing enough for two babies. After I feed her, I get around 3-4 ounces. At her age, she should be eating around 3-4 ounces. So, if you're pumping for a new baby, you won't get much. If you're pumping for an older baby who eats more, you'll get more when you pump. Good luck and keep at it!

Well, it often took me and hour to get an ounce from each side with a Medela Pump in Style. A switch to an Avent Isis brought about 2 ounces. My baby is a big healthy 20 month-old who still gets a lot of breast milk. My body just wanted a baby, not a device.
I do know moms that pump exclusively and they can get 8-10 ounces in 15v minutes. your body will supply what is demanded of it!-)

There really are a dozen or so factors that contribute to this. The biggest 2 are how old your baby is, and how long its been since they have eaten. Also, everybody is a little different, I never had much trouble pumping a "full" bottle (meaning whatever baby would eat at one setting at the time) within that time, but my sister never did have any success at pumping.

It depends on the person and the time you choose to pump if you just fed the baby you will get less than if you have not nursed in a few hours. I get about 12oz. total from both breasts each time I pump. I am nursing twins so you might get less maybe half that?

On the left side I get 7 oz. On the right side I get 4 oz. My baby is 12 weeks old.
It really depends on your milk supply, how often you nurse, how often you pump and which side the baby favors.

It depends on how good of a flow you have. If your child eats well and is constantly eating then your breast milk should flow better as if he/she would be eating.
