What all-american rejects song should me and my band play at a high school talent show? we can play any song from the Move Along album and we can also play swing swing

Probably something popular or at least known so they can identify with it.
Move Along is overplayed and still a bit current. Dirty Little Secret was overplayed but it's kind of an "oldie but goody."

My band refuses to play anything from them, but i would play either move along or swing swing. Almost everyone knows those two and you would get a better crowd reaction.
