If you are standing at the equator then you are travelling (spinning) at about 1000 mph (slower as you go towards the poles). Two reasons why you don't sense the movement: (1) everything else that is close to you is moving that fast too - so there is no visual reference. You can see yourself moving relative to the sun (if you build a big sundial) but the sun is 93 million miles away. (2) it is a steady velocity - no acceleration so no forces to feel either. You only feel the movement of a plane when it is landing or taking off - if you close your eyes in flight then you wouldn't know that you were moving either.

Because we are moving at almost exactly the same speed and direction as the part of the earth we're standing on, at any time.

Actually the parts of us further from the ground are moving slightly faster than the parts touching the ground.

It doesn't seem to upset tall people. I did say slightly faster and we have a life time to get used to it

But we do feel it.
If you examine carefully the problem you'll understand that what we call our weight isn't a force that actually points towards the center of the earth. It's actually a centripetal force that maintains our cyclical movement on the surface of the earth. So we do feel it but we tend to ignore it (just like we ignore the feeling of our clothes since it's constant)!

The atmosphere moves along with the earth, so we don't have the 'wind in our hair' feeling that we have in a vehicle. Also, the background is sooo far away that we don't get the impression of movement relative to something standing still.
