Why is it that when people smoke they say they only smoke (say) 20 a day, but when they give up they say they used to smoke (say) 60 a day?
Is it a bit like fisherman who stretch the size of the one that got away, but in reverse?
So how many do you smokers smoke a day? And would you:
a) give up, if you could
b) carry on because actually enjoy a smoke
c) both the above

i smoke 10 a day but i'm quitting tuesday wish me luck! i'm being blackmailed by my dad >:( but i'm going to do it for him!

ON average about 20-25. But under a lot of stress and I can clear two packs easy. If I'm drinking, look out. If Im busy I might not smoke but 10.
I need to quit but don't want to so therefore it would do me no good to try. And no..I don't enjoy the cigarettes like I used to. Its more habit than anything....

I smoke about a pack and a half (30) a day, have smoked for 29 years and am not quitting for any reason. I enjoy smoking very much.

Good question.
I tell the doctor I only smoke around half a pack to 1 pack a day.
And I always smoke at least 1 pack.
If I'm very stressed out that day, or are very bored, I may smoke close to 2 packs.
(This also depends on how many burnt out, forgotten in the ashtray.) lol
I would like to quit, to be honest.â¥

I have quit three different times ... November 30th is our next quit date (my wife and I)
I smoke about 5 to 10 a day, she smokes about 15 to 25 a day.
So, I know I can, I'm worried that she can't.
