Would there be some way of making your turban look like a crown (I remember seeing a picture of the Crown Jewels and one of them is a crown with purple velvet)? Or perhaps put model birds (I remember having robins for my Christmas tree) on the turban, similar to the way nineteenth century pirates used to be portrayed as having a parrot on one shoulder? Non-pirate bird-loving characters that come to mind for me are St. Francis of Assisi and The Birdman of Alcatraz. There used to be a Sikh Elvis impersonator (in Wales) who wore a white or cream-coloured turban along with a jumpsuit-style outfit but I don't know if your party would allow people to go as rock stars. I was impressed at how he didn't follow all the other Elvis tribute performers and made his heritage a feature of his show.

I don't remember what it's called but they used to have them at amusment parks. It was a mechanical genie that would tell your fortune. He wore a turban and no shirt. You could get a big refrigerator box, cut out the front top half like a window draw a little lot for coins and one on the bottom for the fortunes to come out. I hpe you know what I'm talking out about. There was one in the movie big with Tom Hanks

Wow some of these answers are just...
In Sikhism the men never take their turbans off

well embrace Sikhism and our punjabi culture, wear a bhangra outfit - kurti jacket and lungi
Take a tape player or cd player or something, and put bhangra music on it, if you know how to do bhangra that'd be awesome, you'd be the life of the party!

Punjabiyan bhangra ne paunaaa

Wear an orange turban and paint some eyes and a scary mouth on it. It will look like a pumpkin. For extra effect you could put a candle on top, however that could be dangerous.

Put on a suit, stick a big fake jewel in the turban, and go as "The Amazing Carnac" (old Johnny Carson routine).
