not sure you will get anything large, Tapas is a selection of small dishes that just keep being brought to you. Just try as mush as you can and don't be a wimp if you don't like the look of it.

buy you a drink. For me, these are immediate turn offs. I'm in a relationship, and have been for many years. But i work very closely in a business dominated by men, almost all of which are single. These guys are not players, they dont go out on the town to specifically pick up, and if there is one thing i have found out from working with these men, most of them want the same thing as women: A completely satisfying relationship with a person that respects them, is honest with them, trusts them, and appreciates them for who they are. It's not brain surgery! Placed in the situation where i was single, i would go for the man with confidence, the man that can initiate that conversation without expecting anything in return, and most importantly, the man that can make me laugh. Honestly though, people never find the 'right one' in bars

are you going to a La Tasca? Ask for the party menu. It's a set amount per head and they pick out some tapas for you. There are different things at differnt prices ie. £12.95 per head, £17.50 per head etc. it's the best way if you are not sure what to order.

Get a copy of the menu beforehand. Look it over and memorize which ones you want to order. You can call the bar to inquire about certain dishes if you have questions.
Why impress her.... I'd be impressed by a guy telling me that we were experiencing something together !!!

Some food? Perhaps a drink or two? I don't know - just chill out and go with the flow. You don't need to impress her - just be yourself - she seemed to like the first date, why else come back for more?

do not order ne thing to impress her. Order what you want to have and will enjoy...the food has to be good as well as the date. id never order food just cos it might impress a man

Be yourself (women like self confident men - they can tell if you're putting on an act and it'll go over like a lead balloon).
Order what you like, but be willing to experiment with dishes that you MIGHT like. Let her get whatever she wants too (even if it's really expensive - women like generous men).

I think it is great you are preparing ahead of time! It shows you care. The above answer of getting the menu ahead of time is great..I would also just ask the server what they would recommend..then go with that..It shows you are willing to try new things.
