This certainly isn't the first time they've done this. If you watch Bigger, Longer and Uncut, you see all sorts of recently dead celebrities in hell. The reason that they're in hell. (according to the South Park FAQ) is because only Mormons go to heaven. What is an easily offended person doing watching South Park anyway? The show is for people who enjoy that type of humor. If a person doesn't like that type of humor there are I Love Lucy, Scooby Doo, Leave it to Beaver and any number of safe comedies.

Steve Irwin probably really loved the show and would have been happy to have been on it.

I don't know what happened to south park after season 6 it started to wither away. Matt and Trey are running out of ideas

No it was a bit tactless but it does not mean the ultimate demise of the show.

i love south park, so its always cool, lol, j/k. i havent liked the new season as much.... xcept make love, not warcraft. thats was flarious
