India is a cool place to visit. We have the greatest respect for foreigners. I am from Chennai, India and I went to Mumbai like 2 years back. I asked a person for directions in a crowded place and there were like 3 people who overheard me that came to help me out. India is nice man, we just lack infrastructure, but we'll get there eventually.

I would absolutely love to visit India, and hope to someday! I'm not familiar with the place at all though, so i'd def. need lots of info & suggestions as to where to go & what to see. But just the thought of going to such a beautiful old-fashioned country seems like it's a whole new world!

I don't know, when I think of India, I think third world country with millions of starving people roaming the streets. I know there's a rich class too but it's not up there in the top ten places I'd like to visit. Sorry.

Hell yeah. Been there in 2002 and I really loved India so much. I do plan on going again in the spring/summer of 2007 and stay in Calcutta & see family friends there.

Also, becareful when visiting Jammu & Kahmir area. Tourists are recommended to stay away from there or stay there at your own risk.
