Yes. I could easily drive 680 miles stopping only once for gas along the way. It's likely that I'd want to stop for snacks or a rest stop in between fill ups though.
I bought a Mazda3 in 2005. At first I was averaging about 26 mpg in the city and 34 on the highway. But after breaking the engine in and servicing the car, the mileage improved. My last road trip I average 41 mpg highway. I was astounded. City mpg hasn't improved as much, but I didn't really expect it to.
All in all though, I'm quite pleased.

I don't think my car would even make it 680 miles period...forget about how many times I would have to stop for gas :) Are you gonna be traveling? Where ya goin?

I get great gas mileage but I would have to stop & pee a few times. I wish I could say the same thing for my bladder :)

No...I would have to stop three times......I am averaging about 250-275 on a tank of gas....(I drive a 92 Honda Accord)

On the highway I get 30--31 mpg. and yes I could. I drive a full size American made car.

no it doesn't matter what type of vehicle you have have you will have to stop at least once. but you will save by setting the cruse control
