the insurance company total my 1990 Dodge Omni it only had 104,000 miles on it it still runs and drives all it need was a hood a fender and a bumper they told me why they total it was cus they can't buy the parts for the car any more witch they lie cus i went to the dodge dealer and they have all the parts for about $250 is thier any thing i could do? they have not sent the $ yet but i'm going to ask them why they lie for? and if i fix it can i still drive it? i live in michigan please kelp asap

You can buy the car from the insurance company and fix it.
Like the other poster said, it will cost the insurance company more than the car is worth to fix it.
You could have yourself a good deal here and continue to drive you old car.

yes, you can buy it and fix it, but it will be on the title as a totaled car. It's not the parts that are expensive it's the labor. Parts and Labor will cost more than the car is worth to fix...so they didn't lie. If you can fix it and drive it go for it.
