If that happens, the five permanent members of the UN security council, which account for 90% of worldwide arms sales better brace themeselves for sanctions. The U.S. is a top exporter of arms that end up in the hands of rogue regimes. This is a result of the U.S. military industrial complex that Eisenhower warned about at the end of is presidency.
If the UN were to impose sanctions, the U.S. would be at the top of the list. Do you still agree with sanctions?

In the real world most countries sell arms and military equipment to other countries. These arms are for the "defence of the purchasing country," That is the reason given for such purchases, Do we call them liars and lose the deal, if we do not
sell to them someone else will. Isn`t this an appalling situation? This is what happens `up front`with legal arms sales. There are thousands of private gun-runners that are difficult to keep track of.The situation is complex and deviously hard to control.

Don't stop there. the UN is on the side of our enemies. Our enemies are the terrorists. The UN could impose sanctions all day long, but as long as they hate us, they will never enforce them.
They have already been exposed. They need to be put out of business!

The US would use its veto to protect its greedy interests or use its CIA to get round it Most of the arms come from the top 5.
A great idea in principal though

Bless you.
The united nations is made up of nations who trade in arms and most are culpable.
No one shames themselves if they can avoid it.
