This is almost sad, but why is it that entertainers, athletes, etc. get paid more than 3 times the salary of Teachers and counselors? My question is because w/entertainment, we fulfill pleasure that is individual. With teachers and counselors, for instance, we provide education, knowledge, and most important, HELP for individuals, groups, families.... Doesn't this mean that our priorities as individuals is wrong? What is wrong with US?

That's exactly why this country is, has been, and will be in deficit for a long time. Spending so much money on the wrong things and allowing necessities to fall to the bottom of the to do list. Well I guess "our" motto is: As long as things look and seem okay to others.
