Does anyone remember this movie? I thought it was very admirable of Cillian Murphy's character to try to get the woman and the girl out of there once he found out that the captain, or whatever he was, had promised his men women.
Also, did you know they are coming out with a movie called 28 Week's Later? With the American's going to London to try to rebuild the population, but of course something does wrong. I'll probaly be one of those in line to see this one.

I love that movie! I owned it for a bit, but it got stolen. I haven't thought about it in a long time, but just a couple of days ago, my boyfriend bought for me. I agree I think Jim was an AMAZING character (that's the first time I even saw Cillian Murphy's acting and I think he's really good, in his other movies too!!!) After Resident Evil 1&2, that is my third favorite zombie movie!!!

It was a great movie and a blockbuster when considering the budget was $8 million and it made that amount in its opening weekend. The appeal that put this movie head and shoulders over other "zombie" movies was in humanity of the characters and Murphy's character to still be chivialrious in a situation where most men would just focus on their own survival.
28 Weeks Later is still in production and scheduled to come out sometime in 2007; as good as the original movie was, I am anxiously awaiting the release and hopeful it is as good as the original, but prepared if it is not as rarely does a sequal ever live up to the original.

Yeah, Best zombie movie in a long time! The sequel is fiming as I type, but most of the original cast will not be back sadly :(

Sad to say, but you are one of the three people I heard that said they liked this movie. Maybe it's just me, but I thought it was garbage. If you're gonna do zombies, just stick with the "Day, Night, or Dawn of the Living Dead" ones.

I really liked the movie, and yes, Jim was a kick @ss character.
