Try to keep it light and humorous because sometimes people get homesick when they are away at camp. Talk about mutual friends, what you have been doing, what your plans are for the future when your friend returns. Boys talk about sports, music, games, etc.: Girls talk about boys, makeup, clothes, and music. You might think of some things that interest your friend and discuss them. You migh discuss books you have read while your friend is gone of movies you have seen. You friend is probably interested in the latest music releases and/or celebrity gossip.

Tell jokes, draw pictures, add different coloured text and stories that he might not know, download some useless trivia from Yahoo answers and add this to spice up the letter.
Maybe add your own crossword or wordsearch for things that only you would know.
Make it like a mini-holiday adventure story and write what you think he is currently doing while reading it (the more outlandish and detailed the better)
Make it fun and congrats on already filling ten pages.
