how soon do you think the world is going to last before it gets all crappy..
do you think it will turn out like MadMax.. where the world is all a big desert? or will it be like water world?
or perhaps soylent green ish?

We can, as the the ones with the most ability to do so, turn things around. we still have time, but we have to quit bickering over things like religion and race, and get off of our butts and work together at it, and quit letting a few Morons run the world, because they arent doing a very good job of it. No more politicians and evil dictators. This is a job for the People who live here. And we are the gaurdians for the animals and environment, too. We HAVE to change things, or it will end up, as you say, A post-appocalyptic wasteland.

The world is already crappy. Look how we treat each other and allow our government to make our decisions for us. Would you, personally, agree to nuke a country? How many governmental decisions made recently do you feel you really had a say about? We are all being programmed to hate each other and to hate each other's government or country. I am not a real believer in prohesies but the years of 2010 and 2011 don't sound so off kilter to me even if they just prophesies. With all the nuclear power in the world now don't tell me some human race hater isn't going to pop a nuke on their neighbor. Just look around your own neighborhood and I'll bet at least a couple of your neighbors hate each other or are at "war" with each other. Just take your neighborhood troubles and make it global. Not much time left for our world to grow up or pay the consequences.

Wish I knew the answer to your question. Sure looks like we are headed down the wrong highway. All the crazies now getting nukes doesn't help, that scares me more than pollution.

hard to leave god out but.. ok even though its written ina religous book, the scientist say time will tell when the world will become ice age or desert
