Are you talking specifically UFC? Regulated fighting sports in general? Or a no holds barred street fight? In UFC and others the weakest, most vulnerable parts of the body are also illegal targets. Eyes, groin, throat, although chokes are allowed, just not strikes. Although I did see a guy win his match by KO after nailing his opponent with two low kicks to the groin. The Ref stopped the match twice to let the second guy catch his breath. When the first guy started to throw what looked like a third low kick the second guy instinctively dropped his hands to protect his nuts. The low kick turned out to be a rising roundhouse to the now unprotected head and the second guy went down. Even in UFC illegal blows can be used to win matches. In a street fight when you're fighting for your life, anything goes. Knee or kick the groin. Gouge the eyes. Punch the throat. Break the knee. Apply an armbar, then break the elbow or wrist or disclocate the shoulder. Kick the head when he's down. Do whatever you have to in order to put him down hard & fast and make sure he's going to stay down, then take out his friend (if he has one) or get the f**k out of there before the cops arrive.

I know for a fact that the weakest part of the body is the thumb. The reason why it is so weak is because it is conected to all of your fingers and your wrist. Where as you fingers are only really connected at your wrist. So remember if some guy grabs you pull your hand down towards his thumb.
