Yes, always. I have several scars on my body, all caused by different events, and every time I look at them, it makes me think of what happened or how it happened. I have so many scars too....everything from surgery scars, to cat scratches...

personally i dont think my scars remind me of anything but my husband says they look like a map of europe.

Yes, when i went scuba diving in Hawaii and accidentally scratched my hand on a corral, in this case my scar is of a good memory

All my scars are emotional, so they are invisable to others, but I see them everyday.....and everyday I am reminded, of the crappy things I have overcome!

Yes..the one under my left eye reminds me that my doctor lied when she said it wouldn't scar. I had a cyst removed. :|

Yes.
They remind me of where I was and how I came to get them.
Some of them are cherished souvenirs.
Fortunately all of them bring back happy memories.

I was dating this guy who used to threaten me all the time with physical violence. One night I had a little too much to drink and he threatened me and like a dumb@$$, I grabbed his cigarette and put it out on my leg and said "SEE,YOU CAN'T HURT ME!!!!". What an idiot I was, I know.
