Thirty years ago I never thought there would be gay civil unions, much the less marriage. I am also old enough to remember segregation, nobody in my small town thought that would ever change.

I don't think they will be able to legalize cause it will be hard to tax it. Besides you will have teachers, parents and employers complain about the use. It's a wishful thought for some people.

I don't know. With all the mexicans crawling into the USA there might not be anyone left to grow, harvest, and smuggle the drug into the USA after a few years. It might just die out on its own after that.

No, why would they? It is an addictive drug. It's medical value is limited, and it may be legitimized for medical use only, like in Oregon, but never like tabacco. In fact, I bet tabacco will be severely limited in the years to come.

Not sure if it's "legal" per se...I believe it is just decriminlized.
