There seem to be a lot more Toronto games shown, than Montreal games. Not only that but there is no "Coach's Corner" either. Habs fans in the East, feel neglected.

Habs fans just starting to feel neglected?? You should come out West, where there are 3 teams and one is lucky enough to get on HNIC. The CBC has always slanted HNIC towards Toronto, at the expense of all other Canadian teams. The Habs were their second choice. Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver.....3 teams that have been much more successfull then the Leafs in recent years, have been relegated to the 2nd half, and usually only one of those teams. Even Ottawa seems to be regarded as second class to the Leafs. HNIC should be renamed to HNIT......with the second game being HNI...the rest of Canada!! I'll be happy when the CBC loses the rights to Saturday Canadian games and they'll all be broadcasted!!

Earth to Blake Dunlapwjohn, it's called ratings! We have been stuck with Make Beliefs every freakin' Saturday since the the Pal Hal '80s and we live three time zones away here in Wetcouver!

There are not as many Mtl games on "English" CBC anymore as thanks to Rene Levesque, Eng firms pulled out of Mtl and that is when we started to lose that. Now Habs games are on RDS and rarely on the French CBC on Sat.

Coach's Corner--who cares? Cherry is like listening to your granddad. I'd sooner watch Hotstove or Kelly and Oake on AfterHrs.

If you are feeling neglected, get a dish or digital cable and get RDS and/or the NHL Centre Ice pkg. Expecting the CBC ever to be
"fair" to any part of Bananada outside of the Centre of the Universe is a pipedream.

Whats the matter? Dont like watching the Leafs anymore? Well, neither do i. It has burned a small leaf into the left corner or my Plasma tv because they are always on. Unfortunately we all have to get used to it because CBC is a mainstay in Toronto with it's head office and programming coming from out their so they arnt about to change it anytime soon.
As for the Habs, i prefer watching them. They are more entertaining even if they dont compete as well some nights..

Oh! Do not feel neglected. Enjoy a good laugh at Toronto's expense. Deep down you know its only Toronto's wishful thinking. Coaches corner ended with the NHL strike. Don Cherry has moved on.

The CBC is based in Toronto and in their pea brains the world ends at the edge of town. Try catching an Oilers, Flames or Canuck game. Unless of course they happen to be playing the Maple Laughs.

CBC used to have a complete TV crew for Habs game, and one for Leafs games. A few million dollars in budget cuts later, no more TV crew for Habs game. I hope you have RDS.

It's where the NHL's HQ is located.

It's the same with NFL's love for all things Giants and MLB's love for all things Yankees. The Jets and Mets get snubbed for being the "Junior" teams.

Also, If you live in the rest of the US, you get sick of the NY bias in all sports, because all the networks have HQ's in the NYC or close by in the northeast.

yes it sucks but if they do that the Leafs will lose lots of money. they should put the Habs games on evenly. **** CBC and the Leafs.

Patty-Jo>>>> they had coaches corner last year and that was after the lock out.

There in no Coaches Corner because Don Cherry hates francophones... Plus there are more anglophones than francophones in Canada to watch the games so they cater to the team that plays in the anglophone city for better ratings...
