I've been so busy getting for a party I am throwing that I havent put together a costume. I have lots of odds and ends and wanted your opinion.

I have a pair of nice fashionable red sweatpants with a bootcut leg and a black pullover V-neck. I also have a cape, devil horns, a witches hat and some other knick knacks. I do not have black pants and I dont have time to go buy any. Can red and black mix together to either make a witch costume or a demon costume or will that be stretching it?

Red and black goes very well for Halloween! A devil is easy to pull off with what you have. Just use the horns and put on some dark red lipstick and do up your eyes with black liner and smoky grey lids. Stick on long red or black nails {or even the cool ones with designs} and poof!you are a devil! Have a great party!!Trick or Treat!

If I was you, you need to look good since your hosting the party, all the costume are maked down right now, so run to a party store and get one, a friend of mine got one for $6.

Why don't you try a Pirate costume. A knock-off Jack Sparrow should do the trick. You could put trimmings in your hair and a thin band around your crown.

I think with the red & black you've described you should be able to pull off a devil.

You might need to run and get a tail & pitchfork if you have time for it ...

Go for the devil idea. You have the pieces to make it work. Have fun!
