You can only get pregnant for about a 24 hour time period each month, during ovulation. This happens two weeks before a period comes on, so if you were close to having a period, you weren't fertile anymore that month. If your period seemed early or light, it could be bleeding caused by the egg implanting in the uterus, and some women have periods during pregnancy (rare). If you have doubts, get a home pregnancy test from your local dollar store. If you don't want a baby right now, and he can't stand condoms and you aren't comfortable about taking the pill try the ovu-look, it is easy to learn how to read, and tells you when you're ovulating so that you can avoid sex for those few days, or use a condom then. You can usually find them at drugstores or Pharmacies for $15 to $30. or the Maybe Mom at target http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/601-3314058-2286542?asin=B000E7VDKU&AFID=Gifts.com&LNM=B000E7VDKU|MaybeMOM_Ovulation_Tester_with_Mini_Microscope&ref=tgt_adv_XPND0030

Yes, sperm can live for up to 5 days. You get pregnant when you Ovulate. Because it is impossible to know exactly when you will ovulate it is just safe to assume you can get pregnant any day of the month. When you are pregnant sometimes people have what is called 'implantation spotting' and this looks just like your period. It is actually your body becoming pregnant. If you want to know for sure if you are pregnant or not, take a home pregnancy test. If your boyfriend doesn't like condoms, then you should take birth control pills that way you will not be pregnant if you do not want to be... but it might already be too late. Babies are wonderful and if you are pregnant I am sure it will all work out for you.

There's a chance you could still get pregnant because even though your period os when the dead egg cells werent fertilized the sperm that he ejaculated could have swam up past your flow and fertilized to nest next egg to drop. Wait a few weeks and take a pregancy test.

You can still become pregnant some women have periods while they are pregnant. Just because you have a period dosent mean you arent pregnant its not going to show up over night so check in about 2 weeks.

There is still a slight chance that you can get pregnant. Sperm doesn't just go off and die. it stays alive for a few days. And yes there is a chance of getting pregnant on your period. and i've heard women who have it all through out their pregnancy

I don't know...let's see...if you don't want a baby then try wearing a condom & what were you doing having sex on your period? That's freaking disgusting. Gross. Nasty. Dirty. He must have had a cold or something cause that's got to smell like crap.

nothing, you won't get pg. You have no egg right now, and the walls in your uterus are falling apart, so even if a sperm gets to an egg there wouldn't be the right environment for it to settle.
