You would need a switch device and RJ-45 Cables (Network Cables) to connect them. And attach a Network Card to each PC if it doesn't have one. Connect them all to the switch and you should have a DSL connection for better speed for all of the PCs, and ask for a Router that works on network and not a USB Modem then connect the router cable to the same switch. All your connected PCs will have the same Internet Connection.

Otherwise, you can use one PC as a server and connect all the other PCs to it and they use the same connection. In this case you would need the network cards, network cables, and switch but you can use a Dialup Connection here from that server. I personally don't recommend this as sharing the speed of a dialup connection would be useless as it will be very slow.

Purchase a router / hub combination and connect your computers to it. The DSL or cable modem would also be connected to it. Any computer on that hub can share the Internet connection.

We have DSL modem plugged into a 4 port wireless router, one port goes to an 8 port switch so we are running 6 computers(including the server) with a couple pots to spare. :-)=

the easiest way is with a router. if you are on dsl or cable then the router is a must. if you are on dialup use a cross-over lan cable and use the internet sharing wizard
