I am wondering if ; can you transfer a number from a vodafone simcard to a 3 simcard. and if it is successful will my memory card work with it

you have to request a PUK number from vodafone and then ring it thru to 3 and they will change the number over for you

yes course you can!! http://wicked-mobilephones.2u.co.uk does this for you automatically when you join 3 check it out and look for the link saying "keep your number" normally at the bottom of the screen. good luck
