do you think the end of the world as we know it is over?
how long do you think it will be before were living in a mad max, tank girl, waterworld.. soylent green type of world????
and out of those movies.. what type of world will it be?

I don't know about the end of the world, but changes in the world is bound to happen. (especially if the ice caps in Antarctica keep melting the way they are) The thing to remember is that changes happen over a long period of time. For Waterworld to happen, either something enormous (and probably man made) would hit, or it would evolve over a few hundred years. I hope to not be around to see it though. I like water, but not that much.

The world is speeding up at a rate faster than perhaps we want to acknowledge. With things such as IT, nano-technology and ignorance will not help anyone here. The state of the world will depend on our consciousness toward it and the decisions we make and allow to be made on our behalf. The likelihood of a mad max world is not out of the question.
Have a look at some futuristic books, they are shocking but not out of the realms of possibility. The next 30 to 50 years are going to be very interesting.
An interesting read is Bleeding Sun by Samuel Sagan that looks at the loss of spirituality and it's impact on the world. That is peoples total drowning in material reductionism as their sole state of consciousness. Absolutely no connections to the inner part of themselves. It's up there with movies like the Matrix.
We need to wake up or the mad max environment will be our reality - no thanks!

In the bible it says that the end of the world could be any day. I believe that once you die that is the end of the world because you are no longer living to see any thing. Also in my eyes we are always one second closer to the end of the world.

but me honestly i couldn't answer that. i mean the end up the world is all up to GOD. when ever he feels the need to come down to the world once again. he will. so only GOD could answer that question.. so live you life as if every day was your last ask forgivness daily && live your life carefully. because every step you take GOD is watchign you.! && you have to watch what you do..
