It stands for National Aeronautics and Space Administration, it's located in Cape Canaveral, Florida (about 30 minutes south of Daytona Beach) there's also a control center of the NASA in Houston, Texas where the phrase "Houston, we have a problem" came from ! (from the movie Apollo 13)
