Going on and on about how their team keeps winning. How their team will break the record. Oh yeah, its two different records. The Leafs won ten straight with no shootout, which means a tie was possible. Sabres have won at least three games via a shootout. It isnt the same!
To all the sabres fans out there, good luck with that hope of a perfect season...

Believe you, me, if another team were 10-0 the place would be filled with the same type of messages.
The Sabres will have their losses and losing streaks. When it happens, I'm sure this place will littered with messages saying the Sabers suck, etc.

I've noticed 96% of the people complaining about the Sabres fans are fans of losing teams. You should just chill out. You would be doing the same thing if it was your team with the 10-0 record and you wouldn't be questioning the shootout record. Everyone has a right to be proud of their team when they are doing well. And as far as picking on Ryan Miller and rather or not he has talent--half of the people who say he has no talent are the same ones who were saying last season he is the only reason the Sabres made it to the Stanley Cup final. No one likes a winner. Let's pick on and hate whoever is doing well if it is not our team.
How about the cover of this week's The Hockey News-- picture of a Maple Leaf player and the Stanley Cup and it says-- 40 years-0 cups. Love it!!

I agree with jujubah. If your team was 10-0 and the top league in the NHL, wouldn't you be yelling and screaming? We Sabres fans, and the players, know that they will not have a perfect season, it's almost impossible. But don't be mad at us because we support our teams. Whether it's the good ones, Sabres, or the not so good ones, Bills, we still show our love for all of them no matter what status they are in. If the Sabres were 0-10 we would still love them and cheer them on because that's just how Buffalo is.

There are moron fans for every team.
I am first and foremost a hockey fan, that being said I can find plenty to admire and plenty to abhor about every team.
Buffalo almost lost their team due to bankruptcy, was the victim of a very questionable goal during the '99 finals against the Stars, was destroyed by injuries to the defense last playoff and has the horrible football team of the Buffalo Bills.....
The enthusiasm over potentially setting a record would be felt in any team. Does it really matter? No, but who wouldn't rather be sitting with a 10-0 start right now?
Buffalo knows that slumps will come their way, but why not jump for joy while you have the chance? I'm not for fan bashing--with 30 teams the opportunities for giddy excitement are few and far between.
This team is well balanced and not at all cocky. I don't know any fan that is taking this streak for granted or is feeling particularly superior at this stage of the game. The season is still in diapers for crying out loud!
That being said, the Sabs are my boys and I love them all like sons or brothers and have watched them play like complete **** for many seasons. The record is just a sign post along the way, it is not THAT important.....but who wouldn't want it?
I wish every team success and health, but my heart belongs to Buffalo.

I am a Sabres fan and the people asking if the Sabres will go 82-0 is a tad "out in left field"

Not really. I am more annoyed by fans of teams that won Cups years ago bashing recent winners and teams doing well. Grow up. I am not a Sabres fan.

i am, there getting really cocky just like the Leafs fans and i don't really care if they beat the record, cause i hate both teams period.
it doesn't mean ****, the Leafs 10 game winning streak from the start of the season they didn't win the cup. and i don't see them winning it anyways. Ryan Miller is looking good cause he barely faces shots, and his team is scoring lots of gaols to help him with his wins. once the come down to earth then you will really see how good Ryan Miller really is, and i don't think his that good.
